I noticed there was nothing for January for this year too. . .is January a slower month, maybe? A month to regather? For goodness sakes, girl, do you ever rest???? ha!
Ya know, that is funny about there being nothing for January in 2010 also! I didn’t even notice that. I know for several years it was because my MFA program met in January and May. I actually still stop by campus for readings and such during that month. I’m hoping to at least make it to an open mike in January but I was also trying to line up teaching a workshop for a fairly local writing group. That hasn’t panned out yet. Sometimes you put feelers out and you only get nibbles but if you don’t put them out you never bring in those poetry fish

Thanks, January! I really enjoy making lists (as you can tell!) I loved my book launch but probably my favorite reading was towards the end of the year when I read as part of the NC Writer’s Network faculty readings when I taught a workshop for them. It was just such a great crowd!
