Nothing like a lazy Sunday by yourself, well except when all the food you encountered was bleh!

I slept in and basically got up and around enough to warrant some lunch. I got all dressed and went over to Firehouse subs because I was planning to park there like usual and then walk across to the mall.  I had my normal sub but without mayo. It was not as good and then I just felt tired and/or lazy so I went back home where I proceeded to alternate playing on the internet, watching shows off my DVR and catching up on my reading.

I managed to clean off about 10% of what was on the DVR but then more stuff recorded over night so I still have work to do on that! I also finished Blink by Malcolm Gladwell.  It is a fascinating read! I added a book on Venn Diagrams as my new non-fiction book to read and my focus this week will be to finish the Michael Chabon book I’ve been reading for at least a month now.  My favorite of his work so far (Yiddish Policemen’s Union) because I found Final Solution boring and Kavalier and Clay well written but I felt it really dragged in parts.

I started getting bored as the evening went on, just being by myself so I ordered some Chinese food.  It was just terrible! I tossed it out, which I hate doing and later tried to have some of these little 100 calories ice cream cups I had bought. They were also terrible! Is something just wrong with my taste buds?

Ended up staying up late waiting for spouse-o to come home so I could hear more about the anime convention in Baltimore. I definitely want to go to one of these conventions at some point but I’m glad he got a chance to hang out with his brother and that I had a chance to see some of my long term friends who I had not seen in a while.

So far we’ve run some errands today and got some lunch at Pei Wei. That DEFINITELY makes up for the pitiful food yesterday. I’m SO not on my regular schedule having spouse-o home but it is so nice to have him back.  Now to go bug him while he tries to put together his Gundam’s
